On April 21th, at 2:00 PM we have invited Bertrand Mao, master painter, calligrapher, and teacher to many of our members, to give a painting demonstration. Having been painting for over 60 years he is the consummate master of Shan-Shui, traditional landscape painting, and the Four Gentlemen. In addition to his painting demonstration he will include a discussion of the importance of brushwork using bamboo and wild orchid as examples.
