Upcoming 2 day online workshop by Charlene Fuhrman-Schulz


This workshop is for artists of all levels interested in learning and improving their techniques of East Asian (Oriental) brush painting. The workshop will focus on winter flowers and landscapes; birds and animals; and time permitting, special techniques such as stamping, crinkling and pomo. Different schools of this ancient art, from the traditional to experimental, are explained and demonstrated with a strong emphasis on composition and design principles.

Four sessions will be as follows:
10:00 am – 12:30 pm  each day will in include lecture / demonstrations followed by a break for lunch and practice,
2:00 pm – 4:30 pm each day will include lecture, demonstrations and critique
