Anne Allan
Anne (Allan) has been learning, demonstrating and teaching Chinese Brush Painting for some 20 years and enjoys bringing this art form to others. She is Secretary and Joint Chairman of the Yorkshire Group of the national Chinese Brush Painters Society, UK and organises different tutors to run monthly workshops at Pool in Wharfedale, Yorkshire.
In 2022 she decided to bring this experience to others by producing a practical book on gongbi (meticulous) painting illustrating 17 different techniques with 34 practical projects, as well as a basic guide to materials, composition, mounting etc – Chinese Meticulous Painting – a practical guide to beautiful art, published by www.lulu.com.
